First Nations Crisis Resolution Policy Proposals
* First Nations Justice Minister in Cabinet [to be filled by a First Nations representative - [Grand Chief??]
- First Nations representation by population in Commons and Senate and in the Courts
* First Nations Equalization Program to provide financial empowerment for self-government and financial independence
* First Nations Corporate Citizen Program to ensure financial stability for Canada and all Canadians
* Humanize and modernize the Indian Act and replace it with a Just and Compassionate plan and legislation with guidance and participation from First Nations groups. This is Justice with Compassion at work.
* National Institute for the Promotion of Peace - @ Gananoque, Ontario where the legendary Peacemaker of Six/Five Nations history and legend originated. We can honour that story and heritage while improving the probability of human survival through the avoidance of violence and war.
* Canadian Ambassador to The First Nations - the Right Honourable Paul Martin, former Prime Minister and framer of the Kelowna Accord would be my first choice for that position
* Arctic Sovereignty with a much expanded First Nations role
- expanded and enhanced Northern Rangers Corps
- two new integrated northern military bases with access by road, air and sea
- enhanced infrastructure plan - fresh clean water for all Canadians in all First Nations Communities
-equal educational opportunities within reasonable distance of home for all First Nation children - Equality for ALL.
- clean water and fresh affordable locally produced food in all communities
- Northern Sustainable Industry Financial Assistance Plan
